Originally from Meanjin/Brisbane, I was called to Brazilian Samba in 2020 starting my Samba journey off in the Brazilian Bateria, Samba Vibes followed by a beginner course with Sambaliscious.

Shortly after beginning to learn Samba I moved to Melbourne where I quickly became immersed in Melbourne’s Samba Scene joining Community BLOCO3K studying under the mentorship of renowned Samba Dancer, Denise Kayan.

In 2023 I was fortunate to travel to Rio, de Janeiro to train in person with incredible leaders & shapers in the art of Brazilian Samba. A continuation of my journey learning online with Brazilian Teachers.

I have a particular interest in teaching Women & Mothers as I adore how the art of Brazilian Samba offers a vehicle for transformation and personal evolution.

Brazilian Samba has brought my life so much joy, so much love, healing, connection and upliftment. I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to move my body, to dance and share a bit of what I have learnt with my community.
